This role can be located in Decatur IL, Erlanger KY, Chicago IL or near a major ADM location **Position Summary:** Reporting to the VP of Global Business Services (GBS), the GBS Transformation Director is a leader within the GBS team and is responsible for: + Developing the vision, architecture, development, and implementation of a portfolio of strategic and transformative initiatives to deliver productivity for the enterprise. + Partner with the GBS Leadership team to scope, develop, and propose GBS strategy initiatives, including but not limited to: analyze and propose scope to expand GBS business case and value proposition. + This role will focus on key company-wide end to end processes supported by GBS and execute high-visibility initiatives requiring cross functional alignment and support from all levels of the enterprise including: Global Process Owners, business stakeholders, GBS Leadership. + This person will work with functional, and enabling leads, to propose strategies, influence buy-in, garner commitment and define the roadmaps needed to successfully implement initiatives that will improve service quality, standardize, simplify and improve processes while reducing and optimizing operating costs. + This role will lead and oversee the delivery and orchestration of strategy and transformation initiatives across multiple complex ongoing projects. This role will be a thought leader in the ongoing establishment and evolution of GBS through well-defined strategies and a mindful approach to enterprise transformation. + The Global Transformation Director will oversee and manage the Transformation Office team. **Job Responsibilities:** + Leverage external benchmarks and consult with the Global Process Owners to develop, and propose scope to expand GBS service offering and value proposition; develop and evolve location footprint strategy for optimal coverage and cost. + Develop action-oriented recommendations through the analysis of internal data and competitive external benchmarks. + Create enterprise-wide view of GBS consolidated transformation plan and alignment with broader transformative initiatives + Develop process transformation strategy and drive process simplification and standardization for E2E processes supported by GBS. + Lead collaboratively with other team members both within and outside the GBS team to connect dots and integrate initiatives as needed. + Engage with senior leadership and other stakeholders through influence, often without direct authority; use qualitative and quantitative means to persuade others to action + Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and develop service offerings that meet their functional requirements and operating goals. + Apply ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, confident executive presence, and interpersonal skills to successfully influence strategy and transformation needs and resolution of challenges and issues. + Build and lead a high-performing, highly motivated, purpose driven team + Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentoring and build required capability to achieve goals. **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or relevant degree **Required Experience:** + 10+ years of required experience in complex, global transformations, consulting and/or strategy + Experience leading and scaling global or GBS strategies and transformation initiatives in a consulting or Fortune 500 environment preferred. + Prior supervisory experience + Strong collaborating, trust-building, and influencing skills with key Senior Management/Executives in required to ensure success. + Ability to think strategically, innovate, and execute a plan. + Result-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. + Expert knowledge of MS office programs; familiarity with SAP a plus + Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement Certification Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
