Shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (this may be flexible in terms of start and stop time). Job Summary This position will be responsible for the overall preparation, negotiation and implementation of Physician, Dental & Other Third Party Contracts as needed. In addition, the position will be responsible for operationalizing Managed Care Contracts via collaboration with Operations and Revenue Cycle. Organizing and reviewing Medicaid Directed Payment Average Commercial Rate calculations are a major assignment to this position. Excellent communication skills, integrity, teamwork and service excellence are crucial to the success of this position.
This is a remote position Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Able to compile and manage vast data sets into workable product(s), creating clear and concise products often utilizing Excel, Access, Tableau, etc.
Extensive Managed Care Contracting experience to include preparation and negotiation.
Epic Payer Contract modeling requirements.
Net revenue projections.
Thorough understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Nine years leading Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare cost reporting teams in an Academic Medical Center; leading Managed Care contracting teams; proficient with Epic contract modeling systems; knowledge and experience spanning finance, accounting and reimbursement in an integrated healthcare environment, preferably an Academic Medical Center.
