Dir Program Management Office
**Dir Program Management Office - req1350** **OVERVIEW** Responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and programs intended to improve business processes and support corporate strategic objectives. Manage and oversee major business process changes and technology implementation strategies that impact corporate-wide or multiple business areas including tactical planning, prioritization, resource allocation, management, timing, and deployment. Serves as the strategic interface to organizations across Canon Medical Systems USA and as a “trusted advisor” to the executive leadership team. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Lead executives and senior management in the PMBOK process to plan for and execute major business process changes and technology implementations. Ensure these changes align with corporate strategic objectives and are compliant with company policies. + Provide project leadership and oversight. Ensure all necessary tactical support is made available throughout the program implementation. + Define, develop, set up and lead the Program Management Office, including definition of standards, procedures and organizational assets. Ultimately responsible for assigning project and program managers. + Define business metrics and KPIs and manage successful completion of all programs. + Set team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of program team. + Measure, track and report on program implementation benefits and customer satisfaction levels in order to drive better business performance across organizations. + Evaluate and research new business application products. Negotiate with appropriate vendors and make recommendations. Lead the implementation of new products and technologies. + Liaison with the Director of IT to ensure that IT related activities can be properly executed and supported. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Must be independent and self-directed and able work on complex issues with little detail + Must have produced deliverables in all stages of Project Management as defined by the PMBOK (Initiation, Planning or Design, Production or Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing). + Must utilize Six Sigma, Lean and/or other Quality Expert methods + Must have led multiple projects, and at least two major programs to successful completion + Demonstrated ability to understand new technologies + Gather, analyze, and document current practices and business needs to identify efficiencies, alternatives and gaps + Map business processes, applications and data requirements across multiple business units or operating companies + Manage the PMO in regards to assigning and reviewing projects + Experience taking corrective action to keep projects on track and within budget + Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and listening skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships + Excellent meeting management skills including facilitating medium/large group meetings + Excellent documentation skills of: meetings summary, issue/task status, problem definitions, requirements documents, test plans, etc. + 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent work experience and/or technical training in lieu of degree. + 15 years' experience leading business process re-engineering efforts resulting in significant efficiencies gained through the new process. + 7 years' experience managing a Portfolio of medium to large size projects of high complexity. + Experience utilizing project management tools and design methodologies. + Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships. + Will work PST hours, travel to HQ in CA as needed \#LI-RS1 \#LI-Remote **_About us!_** _Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc., a world leader in diagnostic imaging, is in search of qualified candidates to fill our open positions.
