Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) assist our adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be independent in their daily lives. Our DSPs are responsible for providing support, positive direction and assistance in accordance with program policies and procedures and personal outcome measures. Our DSPs support our individuals with all areas of hygiene/support including bathing, dressing, incontinent care, feeding tubes, etc., along with supporting the individual's participation and inclusion in the community including ongoing engagement with their family. A DSP is responsible for providing support, positive direction and assistance in accordance with the NADSP Code of Ethics and the OPWDD DSP Core Competencies, as well as with program policies and procedures and personal outcome measures.
Pay Rate:
+ Full Time Employees: $19.50/hour
+ Part Time, Scheduled Relief & Per Diem Employees: $19.10/hour

The Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) will include working with adolescents, typically 12 – 18 years old that are diagnosed on the Autism spectrum with mental health concerns and developmental or intellectual disabilities. The Behavior Technician- ITP in the residential setting is responsible for the delivery of evidence-based methods to support individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disability and mental health involvement. The methods include Applied Behavior Analysis approaches; classroom observation; observation in residential setting; data collection; supporting staff to implement individual behavior protocols and behavior intervention plans; and treatment integrity monitoring. In addition, regular assistance with personal hygiene tasks is required. Each individual also may be assigned to one or more special projects including administrative and organization tasks associated with these assignments.
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Education:
+ Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required License/Registration/Certification:
+ NYS Driver’s License

Behavior Health Specialist

A Behavior Health Specialist (BHS) works with high risk children in residential settings licensed by the Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS). These children and youth served range from infants to teens and require various levels of supervision, support, and intervention, as they work through and deal with the issues that have led to their placements. Our goal for children in care is to help them heal from the traumas they have experienced and learn better coping strategies.
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

+ 60 credit hours completed AND currently enrolled in 4-year degree program in Human Services or related field

The Overnight Aide serves as a night attendant assigned to a residential living unit. The primary responsibility of this position is to remain awake and alert during the clients sleeping hours, making regular direct observations of the sleeping areas as well as the rest of the unit. This employee is also responsible for waking the clients in the morning and ensuring that the established routine is followed.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
