At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax and other indirect taxes. Your work will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.

Must be a Namibian Citizen

Must have a strong knowledge of an Accounting environment;
B.Acc, BCom, BCom Law, B-Tech Accounting degree or other Tax qualifications will be an advantage;
Must have 2-3 years relevant working experience;
In-depth knowledge of the VAT Act/Customs and Excise Act will be an advantage;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Must be able to meet deadlines, perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks;
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
Duties
Analysis and determination of the impact of the Namibian Income Tax and VAT Act Act on client affairs and specific transactions;
Review and control over VAT calculation and compliance matters;;
Consulting clients on Namibian Income Tax and VAT related matters;
Communication with the Inland Revenue regarding interpretation of the Namibian Income Tax and VAT Act;
Perform Income Tax and VAT Refund verifications at Inland Revenue ; and
Communicating with Inland Revenue on technical Income Tax and VAT matters;
