We’re looking for an ambitious individual to join our Direct Labour Replacement Team in Construction as a Commercial Assistant.

This key role will support Direct Labour BPM, Project Managers and will be working with Planners to enable effective management of contractor payments, project closure and stats capture.

Key responsibilities will include;

Undertaking 2nd stage commercial validation of all contractor payments.
Raising purchase orders
Assisting with the production of weekly project costs for managers to review
Recording minutes on the meeting template at Monthly Framework Contract Meetings
Reconciling database stats to support and validate the project closure process
Reconciling the statistical input of Mains and Service activities associated with the Replacement process
Inputting system stats on weekly basis
Providing support in the control of eDocs along with assisting the Planner in the collation of project information

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for someone with initiative who can demonstrate great planning, organisation and decision-making skills – this is key to being in line with the high standards required to ensure the delivery of the depot’s commercial functions. It is also important that the successful candidate can communicate effectively, internally and externally.

We’re also looking for:

Ability to understand and use the internal systems
Previous experience of working as part of a team (ideally in an operational support role)
Awareness of KPI’s
Customer service skills and experience
Attention to detail
Basic awareness of core operational and commercial processes
Collaborative and supportive work ethic
