**What you’ll do:**
+ Develop and execute a proactive business development strategy, identifying new clients and expanding our footprint within the automotive sector.
+ Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing accounts, while developing strategies to expand our presence in the automotive sector.
+ Generate leads, prospect new accounts, and build a strong pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent sales growth.
+ Lead and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from proposal development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
+ Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of automotive clients, fostering long-term, trusting relationships.
+ Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and business objectives, delivering tailored IT solutions to meet their needs.
+ Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, forecast account activity, and report progress to senior leadership.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
+ Proactively anticipate client needs, resolving challenges and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the relationship.
+ Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and threats.
+ Actively participate in strategic account planning to ensure the growth and profitability of key accounts.
+ Work closely together with the European Automotive sales team to translate the global and European sales strategy to local business.

**Your profile**
+ A proven track record in direct sales, business development, and account management, with around 5 years of experience in managing (mid sized / larger) accounts.
+ A hunter mentality with the ability to open doors, build relationships from scratch, and drive revenue growth through new client acquisition.
+ Strong experience in IT sales, preferably within the automotive (or manufacturing) industry.
+ Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful account strategies that drive revenue growth.
+ A solution-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to addressing client challenges.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
+ Passion for cars is a big plus, for Japanese cars even better
+ Open minded person, flexible, willing to travel internationally, eager and helpful.
+ Strong soft skills, to navigate the Dutch and Japanese culture
+ Domain skills in the manufacturing or/and automotive sectors.
+ Experience in Japanese company is a preference, not a must
+ Small amount of travel to various European countries (Belgium, Germany, France, UK, etc.).
+ Fluency in Dutch, English are a must. Pro would be verbal communication skills in German, French or/and Japanese.
Moreover, you excel in building relationships due to your ability to network effectively, you are a strong communicator and you pay close attention to detail. Furthermore, we love a sense of humor.
