Job Descriptioninsightsoftware is looking for a Direct Sales Account Executive, Public Markets to join our Equity Management team. You will be fully remote and report into the Divisional Vice President, Equity Management.
Develop sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities
Develop and execute territory sales plans focused on pre-IPO, emerging growth, and small- to mid-cap public company prospects
Develop and manage sales pipeline to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas
Uncover and partner with centers of influence in the equity management industry to drive referral pipeline opportunities
Use a consultative approach to diagnose our customer’s needs
Remain knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales efforts
You have excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff
WINNING MENTALITY – self-motivated to close deals, acquire new client logos, and lead the sales scoreboard
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of software sales experience required
3+ years of equity management industry experience preferred
Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
Hunter mentality w/ ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cold calls, proposal preparation, and presentation skills
Must have energy, drive, commitment, and passion
