Direct Support Professional - 2nd Shift

Overview

Prader-Willi Homes has been supporting individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), providing residential services and support for almost 40 years.  PWS is a complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism, cognitive function and behavior.  Our mission is to provide each resident with the opportunity to explore his/her highest potential of independence within a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. 

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

Responsible for compassionate care for residents in Prader-Willi group homes.Assist residents with personal care including dressing, personal hygiene and administering medication.Prepare meals from dietician developed menus.Plan and participating in social events with residents, such as a day at the zoo, or a hike in the park.Provide positive support to all residents

Qualifications:

Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent; some college preferredMust be 18 or olderMust have a valid Wisconsin’s driver’s licenseWork experience that demonstrates reliability and willingness to learn
