Under NYS’s Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS), you will be responsible for supporting individuals with mental health needs to pursue individualized goals in a variety of services. Among the provider’s responsibilities are: · Assisting in creating a safe and secure environment; · Transporting/accompanying individuals to places within the community; and/or telehealth services as COVID regulations allow; · Contributing ideas for improving the experiences of individuals in the program, including planning appropriate activities; · Being flexible around the needs of the child and/or family; · Completing daily documentation of services provided; · Working collaboratively with family members and other professionals involved in the individual’s care; and · Maintaining compliance with all required training.   Preference given to candidates with experience working with: children’s mental health, addiction, foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice, children with medical/health needs, or children with developmental disabilities.
