Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professionals serve individuals with disabilities by assisting with personal cares (bathing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, etc.), mobility support and transfer assistance, transportation and support for community outings and activities, medication administration, housekeeping/cleaning duties, and meal preparation. 

$16.00-$16.50 Per Hour  Annual Merit Increases Paid Training and Orientation, No Experience Needed! Schedule: Part-time and full-time hours available (mornings, afternoons, and Evenings) Every other weekend is required for this position. Thirty or more hours/week is considered full-time and benefit eligible!

 

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED Possess a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and handle postural challenges like bending, kneeling, and twisting The ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check A willingness to work hard and a desire to help others Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills
