About the role: 

We are currently looking for a passionate, high energy, outcome-oriented Director of Accounting with intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action to join our team. This role is responsible for Global US GAAP compliant accounting including annual audited financial statements, strong ASC 606 knowledge, and other US GAAP policies. This role is also a kay project manager in M&A and also ensures that changes to the business that impact our accounting policies are addressed timely to stay in compliance with US GAAP.  

Your contribution will be:  

Maintain the company’s ASC 606 revenue recognition policy including all related accounting memos, systems setup and changes, monthly reporting, analysis for annual audit and address all business impacts to ASC 606. Project manage all accounting related integration efforts with regard future M&A activity.   Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. Lead the development and a maintaining of global accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Work closely with FP&A, Pricing, Sales, Tax, Legal, HR, and other key business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Manage and optimize financial systems and NetSuite to enhance efficiency and scalability. Manage staff and direct work, including quality control and cross-team collaboration. Oversee the monthly close cycle and ensure the financial results generated by the department are timely, accurate, and in compliance with US GAAP.   Assist with quarterly external reporting Rapidly and effectively adapt to a highly dynamic work environment. Foster a positive and cooperative attitude with all company employees

To be successful, we think you need:  

Active CPA License Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; A Master's degree in Accounting is preferred. Minimum of 10 years in corporate accounting or financial reporting, ideally within the international Software Industry. Strong ASC 606 skills and experience implementing and maintaining a global revenue recognition policy.   Experience with NetSuite, and preferably the advanced revenue module within NetSuite.   Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Strong Leadership Skills and viewing things from a big picture/growth perspective.   Excellent problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and financial analysis expertise Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership Familiarity with international accounting standards and multi-currency environments is preferred
