Reporting to the AVP, Transformation & Operational Excellence, this individual will be responsible leading and consulting on a range of projects and initiatives in support of the Administration executive committee, often on highly sensitive or complex strategic matters. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role._ _You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you'll succeed** + **Administration SLT & Exco leader support and integration -** Scope, plan and lead the execution of special projects, which will often include preparing and presenting materials to Administration SLT, often with quick turnaround required. Act as the primary point of integration for the EVP and the Administration SLT. Manage highly sensitive and confidential materials involving regular interaction with senior executives across Administration **.** + **Strategic initiatives** - Lead the effective end-to-end delivery of key strategic programs, projects and process improvement initiatives that will drive the overall effectiveness of the function and/or help to deliver against Administration’s strategic objectives. + **People leadership** - Build, lead and coach an effective team that will add value and provide high quality execution of Administration strategy and deliverables across CIBC. Provide leadership and effective management of team members to influence employee commitment to the organization to the team and to their job. Manage resources effectively and efficiently for maximum benefit to the Legal group; and identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance business productivity. + **Cross-functional relationship** - Key relationships with a wide range of internal CIBC employees, teams and departments, including executives across Administration and the rest of CIBC, to motivate and influence across the organization to a common goal with or without direct authority.
