The Director, Advanced Analytics will play a pivotal role in leading the analytics efforts and driving data-driven decision-making strategies within the assigned therapeutic area. This key leadership position requires an experienced and innovative professional with a robust background in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence. The Director, Advance Analytics will be tasked with providing actionable insights that align with the company's strategic objectives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, and leveraging advanced analytics to drive business growth and competitive advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the advanced analytics strategy to drive business performance and competitive advantage Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to drive business growth and improve operational efficiencies Partner with business leaders to understand and influence strategic imperatives related to research and analytics, acts as a thought partner and encourage evidence-based decision making Proactively communicates with multi-functional teams to anticipate future needs and provide teams with strategic recommendations and insights; and identifies information and data needs Present complex analytical findings and insights to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner to support decision-making Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the impact of commercial initiatives on business outcomes Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop data-driven segmentation and targeting of entities including patients, physicians, office accounts, payers, and health systems Portfolio, cross-channel and marketing mix optimization assessments Conduct patient/customer level analyses (drivers of adherence, switching, product trial, etc.) Proactively propose analytical solutions to business questions and problems and implement suggested methods Primary point of contact for senior Commercial leaders to engage with research and analytics; serves as advisor to leadership Serves as an expert in the therapeutic area and leads strategic special projects that help shape and drive the direction of the organization Develops people from both a functional skills and leadership perspective with goal of increasing the talent level Oversee the design and implementation of predictive models, segmentation analysis, and other advanced analytics techniques Stay current on industry trends and best practices in advanced analytics and data science Optimizing data collection in partnership with CRM Partner with Marketing and DC to provide insights on Tactical ROI to advise resource allocation

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business impact through analytics Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations Strong leadership and team management skills Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results and driving innovation Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar

 

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.  Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck.  Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels within the United States.  Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
