In collaboration with the Regional Imaging Leadership, Medical Leadership, and Site Leadership directs all imaging and nuclear medicine activities at assigned campuses and associated ambulatory medical buildings, as well as oversees all administrative diagnostic radiology. Includes assisting with strategic and operational planning, financial management and business development. Regional leadership position with primary responsibilities including client satisfaction, efficient operations, overall profitability and execution of divisional objectives and goals. Responsible for hospital accreditation standards and regulatory compliance at designated sites. Provide functional integration of programs across the system and create a high performing team environment. Follows Corewell Health's mission, vision, and values.
Essential Functions
Directs all Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Operations at assigned campuses and ambulatory locations.
Accountable for day to day operations for Department of Radiology services including staffing models, hours of operation and study protocols to maximize efficiency and throughput. Standardize services as appropriate across all areas of imaging to promote transparency of imaging services to patients.
Plans and directs all aspects of operations consistent with strategic and operational planning, financial management, and business development and growth initiatives.
Oversees practice management including HR management, performance improvements, compliance, revenue management, client satisfaction, Culture of Safety, efficient operations, overall profitability and create a high performing team environment.
Responsible to meet or exceed volume and financial targets. Accountable for department expense, operating budgets, capital Budget recommendations and requests.
Responsible to develop and maintain operations of department within fiscal and productivity guidelines as set forth by budgetary process.
Collaborates with all Imaging Directors and Medical staff, as well as Administrative leaders in a supportive manner to foster integration across Corewell Health. Ensures that integration of best practice in operations consistent with overall goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. Required
Master's Degree Preferred
7 years of relevant experience in healthcare. Required
5 years of relevant experience in leadership. Required
Technical experience in radiology. Preferred
Specific Knowledge of governing agency’s laws and policies, including CMS, Joint Commission, ACR, MQSA in regards to Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Services. Required
Clinical Knowledge of Imaging procedures and protocols. Required
