Director, Apartment & Builder Sales

Job Summary

The Associate Director leads a team of Sales Representatives based in multiple states who initiate, negotiate and close energy sales, Partner Marketing Agreements and Continuous Service Agreements. Also part of the team are Marketing Reps who visit and train Partner Properties in an effort to acquire new residential customers
Champions development of process improvement mechanisms to increase sales and conversion rates
These sales must meet or exceed company profit guidelines while adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Achieve/exceed monthly/annual residential and commercial sales goals•Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies in compliance with operational and regulatory guidelines while meeting company growth goals and profitability objectives•Responsible for the on-going search of potential employees as well as developing their compensations plans•Works closely with the Products and P&L teams to identify changes in product mix, margins and customer incentives to ensure the product suite for the channels are both competitive in the market-place while meeting or exceeding profitability requirements•Lead recruiting efforts to grow their sales teams•Help champion the development of marketing materials, customer support levels, and web portal capabilities

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•8-10 years of experience in sales management •Ten years of experience in negotiations and sales to Multi-Family Property Mgrs & their Brokers•Energy related sales experience preferred•Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and individuals•High school diploma or equivalent•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Key Metrics

•Close Commercial Term CM (acquisition and renewal)•Assist in the acquisition of residential customers (Multi-Family and Homebuilders) that generate Term CM for the company•Meet Annual and Term MWH’s goals thru the closing of business deals thru their teams Field Sales efforts Effectively manage spending for their sales teams•Grow the number of Partner Marketing Agreements and Continuous Service Agreements
