APDM – Asia Pacific Distributor Markets

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and aligned with global objectives and regional market dynamics Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, including new customer segments, product offerings, and distribution channels.

Sales Management:

Oversee the development and implementation of sales budget and annual sales objectives, ensuring alignment with long-term volume, profit, and market share targets. Regular team reviews of performance against targets in the areas of sales, production, and Net Promoter Score. Review and guide the development of the monthly sales and production program with full responsibility to all the inputs.

Distributor Relations:

Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with dealer owners and managements to ensure alignment on business objectives and drive mutual success. Conduct regular distributor performance reviews, develop and implement strategies to address under-performance.

Financial Performance:

Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return and over-achieve sales & financial targets. Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate challenges. 

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, focus, collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are aligned and motivated. Ensure the sales team constantly focuses on profitably growing sales, capturing opportunities, and supporting distributors. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or related field. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the automotive industry. Extensive experience in Regional Sales and Program management in a distributor market is a must. Established relationships with Distributor Owners and CEOs is highly preferred. Proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies, managing distributors, and achieving sales and financial objectives.
