Director, Application Development & Support

You have an opportunity to personally thrive, make a difference and be part of a culture where individuality is noticed and valued every day. • Minimum 20 years of technical expertise and banking and financial industry knowledge with Engineering degree • 12-15 years of experience in Lockbox domain / space. • Experience managing multiple project implementations and project teams. • Contribute to the development of strategies. • Analyze client requirements and provide design solutions. • Requires a comprehensive understanding of concepts within own field and knowledge of others. • Uses clear communication skills to influence others, including senior leadership. • Lead data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of data from and to various systems. • Manages the activities of first-level managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors. • Proficiency in independently managing and completing tasks. • Complies with all policies and standards. • Collaborates with other departments to prioritize software development needs. • Evaluates results within work area to determine if organizational goals are being met. • Analyzes and resolves development issues related to the full lifecycle of the software. • Accountable for functional and operational planning and/or program management. • Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans. • Provides leadership to managers and senior professional staff. • Manages multiple related teams, sets priorities, and allocates resources. • Proactively manages resources to meet department goals. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. • Ensure Team adherence to SOPs - Change Management, Coding Standards, and Knowledge Management. • Responsible for the portfolio budget and the development of operating plans • Establishes priorities and documents staffing requirements for current and future years • Identify and oversee the execution of improvements to implement best practices and continuous improvement programs aligned to T&O • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to a team of technical and business SME employees Conduent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
