Director, Associate Relations

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day human resources support and counsel to all departments, covering the following areas: Associate relations, Associate communications, and employment documentation. Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. Serves as a liaison with departments on HR functions such as compensation, benefits and organizational development. This person will manage the HR Associate services staff and will represent the Director, HR in his/her absence.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

Serve as key contact on Associate Relation issues, policy formulation and implementation.Administer core human resource processes including Associate relations, performance management and workforce planning. Consults with leadership on strategic and tactical human resources issues;Work with managers and Associates to investigate and resolve Associate relations issues;Consult with management regarding interpretation and administration of human resource policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations;Develop, recommend and implement human resource process and policy changes;Coordinate the preparation of reports and analyzes data from human resource information systems for information reporting and management decision making;Provide functional management, guidance, advice and/or training to HR Consultants, HR Representatives and HR Assistants;Participate in planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing complex Human Resource functions and/or programs.Support the Director, HR in their absences.Research and remain current on significant HR related trends, issues and methodology.Develop quantifiable metrics to measure ROI and effectiveness of HR initiatives.Develop short term and long term action plans and strategy documents.Continuously monitors and analyzes existing HR programs to identify opportunities to enhance processes and better meet organizational needs.Assists in developing strategies in support of the People Pillar.Assists in design, development and implementation of talent management and succession planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related fields requiredMaster's in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.Minimum of even years of professional level Human Resource experience, preferably in a health care setting required.Supervisory experience at a management level is desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.Strong computer skills relevant to the position are required.
