Director, Authentication Product Architect

Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential._ **Title and Summary** Director, Authentication Product Architect Overview: The Mastercard Authentication Program is responsible for how consumer authentication works for both in-store and e-commerce transactional use cases. Its primary goal is to develop and deliver top-tier authentication products that drive uptake and penetration, ultimately generating revenue for Mastercard. The authentication products under this role's purview include ID Check, Biometric Checkout, Token Authentication Service, and Token Authentication Framework. Role: As the Director, Authentication Product Architect within the Authentication Architecture & Design team, you will be the subject matter expert on authentication. You will serve as the design authority for all authentication development and contribute to innovation, leading the development from concept to implementation, including building working prototypes. You will have the opportunity to guide and establish new authentication standards and certifications. Key Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise on authentication to product and engineering teams. Assess feasibility and propose new authentication solutions, including biometrics and other emerging standards. Design and develop working authentication prototypes. Support the product team in defining relevant Epics, Features, and Stories. Help drive a strategic roadmap for authentications. All About You: Relevant degree in engineering or mathematics. Passion for innovation and emerging technology. Hands-on experience and proficiency in languages for developing prototypes for proof of concepts and demos.
