What makes this role important at Ipsos?

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of dynamic and passionate professionals. The role will assist with functional and technical knowledge and help with the deployment of complex projects and support large programs. You will create proposals of all types which contribute to growing business presence and scope with clients, as well as mentor and coach a small team of researchers.

What you can expect to be doing: 

Manage client needs related specifically to syndicated data and research offerings of the BHT service line  Independently price and write full proposals of all types, with goal of growing Ipsos business and presence with assigned clients  Perform data analysis and verification, test hypotheses, draw conclusions; prepare reports and presentations; make recommendations from the data results based on the client’s requests and business needs Has vision to spectrum of client needs and help connect the dots between projects. May include linking projects to each other, pulling in other service lines, proactively sharing Ipsos capabilities of interest, and more. May include new business outreach and structured business development plans  Mentor and train junior team members on best practices and career growth on an ongoing basis  Create "internal brand" within Ipsos and specific thought should be given to the unique area (whether client facing and/or internal facing) and activities that will help guide what they want to be "known for" as an expert within and outside of Ipsos 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as primary project lead to the client, overseeing more junior members. Handle more complex conversations/communications around project design, analysis, and unexpected challenges. Work to ensure business retention and uncover incremental revenue generation opportunities. Provide coaching and guidance to more junior team members on their own client interactions.

STUDY LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES 

Use cross tabulation to sort and analyze data findings and results. Manage large datasets and databases of related syndicated research data. Leads/co-lead final report writing elements, strategic client guidance and presentation of findings.

EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES 

May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Senior Account Managers, which would include overseeing training schedules, day-to-day guidance and supervision, and providing feedback (both ongoing and during annual review and goal setting). 

STRATEGIC THINKING EXPECTATIONS 

Act as strategic leader for project team and (in some cases) for client account team overall. Thinks through implications of actions, identifies opportunities and risks, and acts accordingly, balances providing what the client needs with the optimal outcome for Ipsos. 

This might be the job for you if you have: 

Minimum of 7 years of research experience; ideally at least 5 years on the supplier side. Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills  Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information  Balance of attention to detail with view to bigger picture and overall objectives of each task  Ability to oversee multiple projects, including managing workload of direct reports  Strong team leadership skills with experience in mentoring and/or managing others - ability to coach, guide and support direct reports  Ability to think creatively about how to align the appropriate project resources, whether inside or outside of the immediate project team  Strong aptitude for research consulting with highly developed analytic skills  Ability to think strategically in terms of clients’ business, as well as opportunities for Ipsos to grow its business  Highly motivated, self -directed and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines  Substantial experience in client relationship management Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well -developed interpersonal and presentation skills are necessary
