JOB SUMMARY
Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 annually, plus bonus potential.
Work location: Vancouver, WA or Denver, CO.
The Director of Building Technology is responsible for supporting the transformation of building technology solutions to give Holland Partner Group the ability to execute construction, redevelopment, and residential projects efficiently while delivering high quality results. This individual will focus on increasing overall business profitability and making our developments stand out in the industry in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop best practices and standards surrounding building technology solutions for shared services, digital collaboration, and field execution and ensure expectations are clearly communicated to project teams. Evaluate and transform building technologies and methodologies. Facilitate the piloting of emerging technologies on projects. Develop best practices for testing and implementing potential building technology solutions based on Holland Partner Group’s desires to incorporate new technology into current and upcoming developments. Serve as a subject matter expert of evolving technology and best practices to internal project teams and other stakeholders. Ensure proper training and adoption are in place for all building technology solutions in partnership with the Learning and Organizational Development Team. Aid in the coordination of building technology with vendors/partners, consultants, and project teams. Track and participate in the commissioning of building technology to ensure a smooth turnover. Partner with other managers, directors, and leadership to develop technology governance practices in partnership with all business units. Provide support to monitor the effective use of technologies consistently on projects. Prioritize and oversee the resolution of support tickets for implemented building technology solutions by assigned project managers, coordinators, and third-party vendors. Provide data and reports to senior leadership regarding the usage of tools and provide recommendations, as appropriate. Develop and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders towards an innovation mindset. Ensure project/improvement requests and other construction technology issues are tracked and addressed. Lead the ongoing management of Procore Technologies as a collaborative project delivery platform. Evaluate, plan, and implement as appropriate the use of Procore in other areas of the company. Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times. Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field or 10 years’ equivalent technology experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or building technology. Minimum 3 years’ management experience required.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.
This position also requires:
Occasional travel and overnight stays. Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
