Job Description:
World Wide Technology is experiencing significant growth currently and has an opportunity available for a Singapore based Business Development Lead to support our Asia and Global Enterprise Sales segments.
We are looking for self-motivated and driven candidates with strong skills in solution development, financial analysis, project management, business processes design, and a solid understanding of connecting technology solutions to the business and financial impacts they deliver for our customers.
Business Development works closely with client managers, sales leadership, and various internal organizations to drive opportunities to closure. This entails skills in solution development, presentation development, executive presence, proposal development, pricing, service partner selection, financial analysis, process analysis, and contract review / negotiation.
Responsibilities:
Assist sales teams with opportunity identification, qualification, and strategy Engage with sales, engineering and technology practice managers to explore, evaluate, and present WWT Solutions to clients Work closely with CSE (Consulting Systems Engineer) and TA (Technical Architect) team to understand the business benefits of technical solutions Remain current on the latest OEM technologies through participation in both internal and external training Provide presentations of solutions, proposals, and business cases to customers Work with our sales teams to support Account Planning initiatives Support marketing team with continuous development of proposal content, technical and marketing content Assist in the transition of “Won” opportunities to Program Management Develop an understanding of competitive market positioning Support & provide on-going sales training Data analysis (program, company, trending, spend, other as needed) Translate solutions to the business and financial impacts they drive Build and present financial business cases Build and present financial models for alternative solution consumption methods comparing and contrasting the pros and cons of each, including but not limited to traditional capital spending, operating leases, and utility or as a service models Work with partners on project information and follow up on business leads. Build relationships with clients and staff Play an integral role (sometimes lead) in complex sales engagements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance desired Strong understanding of financial statements Ability to work under uncertainty and incomplete data sets Ability to extract relevant financial information from various sources and provide insights based on those financials Project / Program Management experience Data analysis, financial analysis, process design, and general system knowledge Minimum 10 years of sales or business experience within the technology field Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) Strong relationship building skills Ability to travel on short notice Ability to quickly understand the business benefits of new and existing technologies
