**Our Team**
Our US Multi-National Sales team is comprised of several seasoned Directors reporting up to the VP. Our team is arranged by various territories throughout the US. Directors are a key strategic role at Amex GBT, responsible for the closing of new sales and are recognized as a senior influencer within the Travel Industry.
**What You’ll Do:**
The incumbent, as an individual contributor, will focus on the acquisition of multi-national prospects across a portfolio in the US. The Director is prepared to represent the value proposition of Amex GBT and will set the strategic direction for bids and participate in key prospect meetings & negotiations that will yield top-line growth for Amex GBT and will be accountable for driving the entire sales cycle.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners along with building and developing senior level client contacts.
+ The candidate must have an ability to work and give in a team and matrixed environment.
+ Building a sound set of prospects and leading the pipeline
+ Moving those prospects through the sales cycle to closure
+ Enhancing the sales process within Amex GBT
+ Exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills.
+ A sophisticated ability to synthesize client needs.
**What We’re Looking For**
+ 5+ years experience within a Travel Management Company
+ Strong travel industry reputation and knowledge desirable
+ 5-10 year’s sales experience and sales leadership experience required.
+ Experience in Global/ Multi National sales with a strategic approach
+ Proven success of selling to and winning large/multi-national accounts and the ability to sell client-specific solutions.
+ Extensive customer/client facing experience globally, the ability to engage and influence at senior levels within large global organizations, and must possess a strong understanding of the principles of driving and communicating client value.
+ B2B Business Development and Sales. Executive Relationship Management
+ Travel & Entertainment Industry Expertise
+ Pipeline Management. Sophisticated Deal Construction
+ Consultative Problem Solving. Strategic Business Planning
+ Knowledge of and use of the Challenger model
+ Proposal Writing. Negotiation Skills
+ Global Expansion implementation. Written / Oral Customer / Internal communication
+ Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and Excel Skills
+ Strong time management and organizational skills
+ Ability to travel up to 40%. Virtual office experience a plus.
**Location**
Texas, United States
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $100,000 to $200,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance and is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
