The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue for Walmart through strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, and innovative solutions, with a specific focus on facilities maintenance and related services. This leadership role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and executing initiatives that enhance Walmart's market position and drive sales growth in the facilities maintenance space, with a data-driven approach and a strong emphasis on customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in business development, sales, and partnership management, with a strong understanding of the retail industry and market trends, as well as an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. Additionally, a strong background in facilities maintenance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that is data-driven and focused on driving sales growth and revenue for Walmart in the facilities maintenance space.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments that align with Walmart's strategic priorities in facilities maintenance, using data and market research to inform decision making.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry leaders, to drive sales growth and revenue in facilities maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities maintenance, marketing, merchandising, operations, and Walmart's Insource program, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that are data-driven and customer-focused.
Support Walmart's Insource program by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the program's goals and objectives in facilities maintenance and providing strategic guidance and support to the Insource team as needed.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in facilities maintenance, using data to inform decision making.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives in facilities maintenance.
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Walmart's code of conduct and ethical standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$292,500.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
