Role and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all business operations, planning & financial management for the fast-growing New Computing and Mobile Enhancements business. This essential function will be responsible for driving category priorities and growth initiatives by delivering solid strategic analysis of the tablets, PC, watch, buds, ring and accessories categories. The incumbent will be responsible for leading key strategic operation initiatives including improving accuracy of demand/supply forecasts and process innovation of SCM to drive multi-category performance.

This individual must be able to provide compelling, clear presentations to senior leadership to influence the strategic direction of programs and initiatives. This role will have responsibilities for core financial and P&L functions for the business to include financial forecasting, supply chain performance tracking, sales deduction, and market development fund management. This position reports to the head of Product Management Strategic Operations.

Role & Responsibilities

Accountable for all aspects of operations and finance including revenue performance, market share, and budget allocation for assigned categories

Leads a team of people to deliver regular performance management reports to cross-functional teams, including but not limited to, product marketing, product strategy, retail, demand generation, and insights

Maintain close working relationships with SEA sales, consumer & shopper insights, product management and SEA marketing support to optimize sell-through initiatives and analytics

Regularly interface with Samsung HQ key constituents to represent the voice of U.S. customers and consumers on strategic initiatives including demand/supply needs

Responsible for gathering, forecasting, and reporting financial performance on a regular basis

Monitor, evaluate, and report on key industry databases (e.g., NPD, IDC, Market Track, Strategic Analytics, Social Analytics)

Prepare executive presentations on business performance and strategic initiatives on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field and 12+ years of experience in sales, finance, strategy or marketing

Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical product and marketing materials

Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and extensive use of Windows presentation software to develop customer and internal presentations

Familiarity with retailer or carrier environments and strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience

Experience developing and leading growth initiatives in a technology industry a plus including ROI analysis and new product introductions 

Strategic consulting experience highly preferred
