In this position, you will manage performance optimization initiatives for Webster Bank. You will evaluate all operating processes and procedures to identify and manage the implementation of best practices while gaining process and financial efficiencies. You will serve as a change agent and advocate for improvement methodology and culture and understand line of sight to increased business profitability. Additionally, you will develop and enhance new and ongoing processes across all business units thereby improving the experience for our clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify improvement projects to reengineer and deliver meaningful efficiencies through process enhancements and automation integration.
Evaluate operating procedures to maximize value while employing acceptable risk levels.
Lead the development of recommendations to resolve gaps in process, tools and policies.
Streamline and leverage technology to increase process enhancements and automate integration across all channels.
Implement Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methods to design and implement process efficiencies.
Provide direction and oversight to project teams to design and implement solutions that meet applicable business requirements.
Collaborate with your team to spotlight and problem solve client experience pain points.
Mentor and provide guidance of LSS tools and concepts to Green & Yellow belt candidates and certified colleagues.
Perform LSS Administrative or SNB corporate process related activity.
Maintains the pipeline of LSS project
Key Experienced needed:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in process re-engineering and design
7+ years of process management experience
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training & certification
Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration
Strong knowledge of internal/external financial operations, controls and processes
Diversified knowledge and experience sales, incentive management, strategic planning, human performance management, technology, and operations
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong time management, decision-making skills and bottom-line focus
The estimated salary range for this position is $105,000 USD to $120,000 USD.
Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
