Job DescriptionThe Content Distribution division is responsible for developing, securing, and managing distribution agreements with MVPDs and OVDs in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.The Director, Business Solutions, Content Distribution will oversee the strategic alignment between Content Distribution and corporate Operations & Technology functions.
Primary responsibilities include project management of key Content Distribution initiatives, support of critical systems, vendor management, process re-engineering, requirements analysis, documentation of business processes and processes in support of audit and SOX requirements. The Director will support the Sr Director, Content Distribution.
Responsibilities:
Lead major system initiatives in support of the Content Distribution divisionProvide support for business-critical financial and operational systems within Content Distribution.Oversee the project management of key Technical Operations initiatives, including support for Content Distribution Digital Products and Operations, such as Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) and Olympics-related programs.Manage vendor relationships and prioritize system features within the product portfolio. Monitor progress, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to mitigate issues.Engage cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive initiatives forward.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and peers to understand and document business requirements, strategies, and needs.Oversee release management, internal audits, SOX compliance, controllership, and cybersecurity efforts.Ensuring Compliance with financial, security, technology and cybersecurity regulations, policies and standards.Promote and maintain operational excellence across all processes and business activitiesLead process re-engineering and documentation efforts in support of audits and SOX requirements.Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to executives, ensuring complex information is clearly communicated and that stakeholders are aligned on key initiatives, decisions, and next steps.Additional duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience.10+ years of experience as a project manager, project management experience, business analyst, or business relationship management. 2+ years Media/Entertainment Industry experienceProven experience in client-facing project management, business analysis, or vendor management roles.Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve organizational performance.Able to build and leverage relationship across business users and technology partners to deliver value to the business.Detailed understanding of Media Content Distribution business.In-depth knowledge of Content Supply Chain processes, systems & workflows.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor to different levels and types of audiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and Expertise with Salesforce, Cloud Based Data & Analytics solutions, and Content Distribution sub-ledgers is highly desirable.Able to build and leverage relationship across business users and technology partners to deliver value to the business.Expertise in establishing appropriate governance across complex programs and portfolios, ensuring timely decision making and communicationsAbility to prioritize effectively and manage multiple deliverables.Experience in responsiveness during system or process failures, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring timely resolution and closure.An eye for detail, able to maintain an appropriate level of knowledge across a broad portfolio of change, being able to respond to executive stakeholder queries and needs – and dive deep into an initiative or plan when required.Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 (bonus and long term incentive eligible)
