Summary: The Director, Campaign Development Support provides essential leadership and in-market support during key times of Region staff transition or vacancies. Exact market support will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Revenue Development senior leadership team in partnership with the Revenue Delivery Leadership Team. This role provides critical coverage to Regions and markets ensuring campaign development standards are established and peer to peer fundraising initiatives achieve revenue goals for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission. This role supports all community and celebrations initiative campaigns and can be utilized in any Territory/Region/Market based on need throughout the year.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for understanding and implementing campaign development activities for all community and celebrations initiative campaign success requirements. Maintains a working knowledge of the LLS’s mission and programs to promote LLS’s fundraising, research and patient initiatives. Ensures that the LLS mission and DEI efforts are integrated throughout the nation to tie fundraising efforts and results to campaign revenue and volunteer impact. Partners with Region Executive Director, and other key staff, to cultivate, steward, and manage LLS volunteers/donors/teams/participants by implementing campaign development activities for successful retention of volunteers/donors/teams/participants for assigned campaign and market. Intense consultation and support to select markets, including responsibility for ensuring KPI’s are met in the market. Ongoing strategic consultation with TCDDs, EDs, and Senior Campaign Development staff in regards to campaign strategy, staff and volunteer performance, talent hiring and evaluation. Model & coach organizational campaign standards with regard to recruiting and managing high level volunteers, revenue generation activities, expense and fiscal controls and marketing/promotions and logistics resulting in revenue growth and achievement of revenue goals. Implement key volunteer meetings to drive campaign standard outcomes. Participates in committee meetings, recruitment meetings, goal planning meetings, etc. In partnership with the Region ED, responsible for training and onboarding of newly hired campaign staff in campaign standards with an emphasis on volunteer development and fundraising, to achieve fundraising goals. Provides strategic guidance and leadership for key events associated with assigned Campaign(s)/Market(s); including but not limited to preparation for and participation in committee meetings, recruitment/cultivation events, fundraising planning meetings, kickoffs, main events, and wrap-up events. In concert with EDs, and other Region staff as available, develops strong professional relationships with key volunteer leadership and fundraising participants to elevate and maximize revenue impact. Produce forecasting and projections reports by evaluating the effectiveness of the on-going fundraising campaign(s), including fundraising efficiency (cost/expense), community engagement, campaign/event satisfaction, and overall success of the campaign.Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $75,600 to $108,675. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
