Position: Division Director, Cardiology Practices
Shift: Day
Experience:
1. Proven track record in physician practice management through a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Minimum of 7 years of healthcare experience, preferably within Cardiology with oversight of multiple medical practices.
2. Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management required, specifically medial practice accounting and third-party reimbursement issues.
3. Demonstrate experience using business analytics to review, understand, and present date to senior management, in support of business decisions.
4. Experience in leading projects with strong leadership skills. Must be a skilled decision-maker that works proactively in a high stress environment, have experience with change management, and excellent negotiation skills. Must be energetic, self-confident, innovative, self-motivated and persuasive. Must demonstrate a strong, proven track record of managing complex projects. Strong consensus building skills and the ability to promote open, direct and collegial discussions.
6. Must demonstrate the ability to work with senior executives at the system level, use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
7. Must exhibit excellent physician relation skills. Must be diplomatic with ability to have frank discussions.
8. Strong communicator with the ability to develop and deliver presentations both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
9. Experience in managing budgets in excess of $30M.
10. Must be prepared to accept calls 24/7
Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required.
2. Master’s degree preferred.
3. Min of 5 years management experience
4. Min of 7 years’ experience in a healthcare setting; preferably Cardiology practices.
5. Lean or Six-Sigma training preferred
