Position Summary:

The Director of Case Management’s primary responsibilities include: The manager of case management is responsible and accountable for the implementation of the case management program at the hospital level. The components/roles of the inpatient case management program consist of the following: care facilitation, utilization management, case management and discharge planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.Two (2) years of Case Management experience in utilization management, case management, discharge planning or other cost/quality management program.Two (2) years’ experience in hospital-based nursing.Iowa Mandatory Reporter – Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Certificates

Preferred Qualifications:

BSN preferred Two (2) to three (3) years previous management experience
