Job Description Summary:
This role will report to Senior Director, WIN@POS
Channel Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales and market presence at retail channels and integrate all the commercial strategic pillars reflecting to POI ( include RGM Pricing, OBPPC, Channel strategy development , execution excellence and asset management & development ) as well as linking to RTM and CVPT. This position leads the development and execution of channel strategies to ensure maximum product visibility and availability. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive, shopper and channel insight-driven strategy to accelerate business growth.Drive long-term development with relevant innovation.Create equipment strategies leveraging NARTD Category Vision and commercial execution approaches like RED/RED ONE.Drive System Execution:
Utilize RGM/segmentation strategies to design segmented execution plans with category leads based on robust business cases.Co-develop execution plans with bottlers to expand long-term execution capabilities, including investment in equipment and sales training.Performance Tracking and Improvement:
Utilize digital and outlet-level data to optimize PicoS per channel/customer and turn insights into specific actions to drive growth.Use IE diagnostics to identify and communicate execution opportunity areas to GMs and bottlers.Lead the team to track and leverage commercial and customer metrics for impactful tracking and opportunity identification at scale.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional leaders to leverage POS data, understand shopper behavior, develop tailored promotions, and provide deep channel insights.Leadership and Team Management:
Oversee and mentor a team of POS specialists and managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous professional development.Innovation and Trends:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors.Introduce innovative strategies and tactics to stay ahead of the competition and enhance the customer experience.Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.Experience: 10+ years in retail sales, merchandising, or POS management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the CPG industry.Skills:
