Director, Client Management, Charles River Development, MD

Who we are looking for

Charles River Development (CRD) is a rapidly growing and profitable financial software and services firm whose customers include the world’s top investment management, wealth management, banking and insurance firms.  The Director of Client Management, APAC has overall responsibility for leading and overseeing the Client Management practice who are focused on the retention and growth of the CRD client base within the APAC region, with a heavy focus on client satisfaction.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

As Director, Client Management, APAC you will:

Serve as a recognized leader of the Client Management business within Charles River and represent the function across State StreetMaintain frequent communication and collaboration with internal client account teams and business unitsLead a team of Client Managers to be effective owners of client relationships with confidence operating at senior levels within those firms Develop relationships with senior client personnel to gain an understanding of client strategy and CRD and broader State Street’s alignment to achieving their strategiesLiaise with broader State Street teams to anticipate and service the needs of Alpha clients in the region. Establishing long-term, strategic objectives for each client and measure success against account plan goalsProactively ensuring effective client issue resolution, project delivery, response to information requests, and collaboration with other CRD and broader Sate Street teamsEnsuring a high touch engagement model with clients, including regular onsite visits, project status calls and executive engagements.Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends and news relevant to CRD and client baseSustaining a strong understanding of the Charles River IMS and keeping up-to-date with current offerings and upgrades.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science15+ years’ experience within the Financial Services /Software industry, specifically in a Relationship/Client Management or similarly functioning role5+ years’ experience managing high-performing teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to foster strong relationships across client organizations, with senior managers (C-Level) and key decision makers in large and small firms, including good personal and working relationships with end users

Additional requirements

Travel up to 40% may be required.
