Position Overview:
This role is key to define and drive the client relations strategy at the Landmark, with a goal to retain and grow top clients through curated experiences and action plans, while also focusing on recruiting new high potentials. The role will also help contextualize internally the execution of all events pertaining to the Landmark. Working closely with key stakeholders in our corporate office in addition to our Global team, the Director, Client Relations will be a key partner with the Landmark team. This position is key to ensuring success in delivery of exceptional experiences and events as part of the 360 Client Relations strategy.
The Director, Client Relations must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united and mutually supportive manner. Key Accountabilities
Client Relations:
Be a strategic partner to the High Jewelry Director, Client Experience Director and Gallery Manager; define the strategy for the 10th floor Tiffanys Private Club Partner with advisors to develop personalized quarterly engagement plans for the Landmark top priority clients to drive retention; train team managers to continue doing the same with their teams and own the follow-through Work with the private client team and client advisors to identify the right clients to send to High Jewelry Blue Book events to ensure we meet or exceed results Partner with the Landmark leadership and client advisors to identify the right clients to send to global or regional exceptional experiences/events (e.g. exhibitions, key store openings, etc.); help create client experience programs around these Support the implementation of high jewelry and top client re-activation programs at the Landmark Partner with commercial leaders to drive retail priorities (e.g. icons) and support key product launches to maximize sales and sell-through Drive new high potentials recruitment opportunities; partner with the high jewelry and private client team to identify prospecting groups/partners to target Partner with team to host and entertain top clients to drive retention and loyalty to brand Define and manage the client gifting and charitable gifting strategies Be the first point of contact for Client Advisors to strategize around high potentialsEvents:
Implement a tiered event strategy to drive retention of top clients and growth of high potentials Plan seasonal in-store activations to drive conversion and maximize client spend Come up with event concepts to help re-engage top client segments Support the Americas PR & Client Relations teams in implementing key events at the Landmark Ensure that all events are implemented with the highest quality/execution standards and maximize commercial results Identify the best vendors to ensure the finest execution of events while staying within budget Ensure that detailed production timelines are shared in a timely manner to ensure that all cross-functional partners are clear on deliverables, timelines, roles and responsibilities Oversee the events team composed of one manager and one coordinatorRequired Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in luxury Client Relations and event design and execution Understanding, appreciation, and articulation of the brand Proven experience in delivering elevated client centric events and defining a high potential recruitment strategy Proven relationships with event design and production contacts in the luxury or fashion industry Have a finger on the pulse of trends, influencers, art, music, food and fashion Experience and cultural understanding of global markets and event practices oversees in the luxury market Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis Familiarity with conceiving and executing large scale events that can be scaled to fit in a retail environment for consumer-facing events Comfort with managing budgets Must be detail oriented, team player, self-starter and able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe hiring range for this position ranges from $144,670 - $204,240. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates relevant skills and experience. Retail management are also eligible for bonus and sales incentives.
