Job Description
Director, Analytics & Business Intelligence will lead a team of analytics and reporting professionals to enable and advance insight-driven decision making, strategies and tactics for the Allergan Aesthetics Commercial organization. This role will be responsible for analytics, performance measurement, and business reporting to deliver insights, solutions and recommendations to Marketing and Sales teams across the Allergan Aesthetics product portfolio. The Director will be responsible for advancing best-in-class analytic and reporting capabilities for a highly competitive, dynamic and omni-channel aesthetics marketplace. This position will partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to continue elevating high-performance and data-driven Allergan Aesthetics culture.
Role Responsibilities
• Lead a diverse internal team of analytics professionals. Be responsible for coaching, leadership, technical guidance, and career development of team members.
• Act as a senior point of contact for the Allergan Aesthetics Marketing and Sales for analytics, measurement, and reporting needs and questions.
• Provide data driven guidance to Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other functional areas via performance measurement and reporting, decision analytics, and commercial optimization insights.
• Align and collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategic priorities for the analytics organization. Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to continue driving analytics adoption and sponsorship.
• Lead creation and advancement of analytics and reporting vision and roadmap to develop best-in-class capabilities and solutions.
• Manage budgetary and other resources for internal and outsourced initiatives and projects.
• Manage external vendor relationships and projects.
Qualifications
Role Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred Masters or PhD in a quantitative and analytical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience. 5+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
• Focus on delivering solutions in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment. Skilled in prioritizing across multiple projects and initiative in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills.
• Strong people leadership skills including coaching, giving feedback, talent development, mentoring, etc.
• High level of proficiency in being able to understand complex business problems and to translate them into appropriate analytic and data questions, hypotheses, and solutions.
• Deep knowledge across analytical and quantitative approaches and methods in fields such as business analytics, data science, econometrics, forecasting, operations research or statistics applied to a broad range of business applications.
• Prior experience in health and beauty care, pharmaceutical, or retail industry is a plus.
