In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure connectivity solutions that support GSK's digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, R&D, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration and connectivity across our global operations. Responsibilities: Design scalable, secure, and reliable connectivity solutions in line with current published architectural and security solution standards Lead a team of up to 10 Engineers in the intake and assessment of requests for engineering services Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements Act as the primary point of contact for connectivity-related scoping and sizing efforts related to 100+ projects annually In collaboration with Connectivity Portfolio team ensure plans are executed to vision from inception to delivery Develop financial models using GAAP principles for project planning Stay current with Connectivity Technology team’s roadmaps and current service offerings to develop comprehensive solutions to best meet the needs of the business Collaborate with peer Technology Directors in the implementation of a strategic roadmap for connectivity solutions aligned with GSK’s digital transformation goals. Identify risks associated with project planning and initiative execution Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the successful scoping and delivery of projects in the initiation phase Key Stakeholder activity: Senior Director Connectivity: Accountable to ensure alignment with cohesive strategy for Global Connectivity services Solution Design Engineers: Daily interaction with upwards of 10 Engineers, ensuring that visions are communicated, and processes are optimized Portfolio Director: Weekly interactions to ensure 100+ requests for solutions are designed, scoped, priced, and feasible for delivery within GSK Network Directors: Daily interaction with Enterprise Network, Cloud Network, Access Network, and Zer Trust Network teams to ensure solution design is optimized for continuity of services Strategic Partners: Daily engagement with suppliers in the crafting of Order of Magnitude solutions to meet business objectives. Why You? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent technical qualifications with required experience. 15+ years of experience in Tech/IT. 10+ years in project management. Experience in networking, cloud, and cybersecurity Experience with digital transformation initiative and integration of connectivity solutions in a global context Experience with Earned Value quantification for project delivery Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of its technological trends. Proven experience in leading and managing high-performance teams under tight timelines Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about enhancing the customer experience. Experienced in initiating and delivering large-scale operational programs. Skilled in operating systems and database administration. Proficient in agile delivery methodologies.
