Job Description

Summary

The European Consumer Solutions team is responsible for managing and optimizing Visa’s core products consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid solutions. The team also manages new capabilities aim at modernizing and transforming credential lifecycle and proposition management, which helps Visa issuers create differentiated core card propositions and stay relevant to evolving consumer needs in Europe. This team works closely with global and market-based Product teams to develop the right products and value propositions for a range of priority customer segments defined by the business across the region.  The team’s objectives are aligned closely to the Visa 2030 strategy and the European regional scorecard (including revenue and profitability outcomes), and the team requires individuals who bring a solutions-centric mindset with a strong focus on consumer insights, market-driven data, and best-in-class UX as we architect new solutions and Customer Value Propositions for EU clients and partners. 

This role reports to the Head of Consumer Solutions for Europe.

Responsibilities

The Consumer Segments and Propositions team is a new team in the European Consumer Solutions team that closely aligns to several Visa 2030 strategic initiatives. The team’s overarching goal is to drive spend and penetration from different consumer segments by creating compelling propositions and best-in-class experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop/refresh and own compelling customer value propositions (CVPs) across all affluent segments in Europe – with a focus delivering the right product features, differentiating benefits, and service levels across each tier of customer segmentsLead Atlas Blue rollout in Europe: serve as overall project management lead, liaise with global team to meet project deliverables, manage executive updates/steercos, coordinate across multiple markets/clientsWork closely with Global Consumer Solution team to support key strategic initiatives (e.g. Atlas Blue, overall affluent) and ensure European strategy/programme, annual targets and reporting is aligned on an ongoing basisPartner with client/cluster teams and Innovation team on a range of key initiatives, e.g. fast-track pilots, creating/executing Pan-European affluent benefits strategy, identify new business opportunities, win RFPs, provide ongoing support in this key segmentRepresent the region for our European Affluent strategy (e.g., customer understanding, narrative, premium content, and commercial product strategy) and support when and as needed in client discussions at the highest seniority levelMonitor, track and provide regular reporting on key performance indicatorsSupport key priorities and initiatives from both Global and European leadership as requiredAs requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organisationActively manage the team, help prioritise activities and opportunities, while providing mentoring and coaching to direct reports and helping identify growth and development opportunities for team members within the team and across the wider Visa organisation

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site).

10+ years of product management experience in financial services roles (strong preference for experience in affluent, HNW segments)
