Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Sr. Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of corporate partnerships that incorporate all marketing assets controlled by the Washington Nationals. These assets include, but are not limited to, traditional signage, radio, print, corporate hospitality, social media, promotional giveaways, experiential opportunities and special events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify prospects on local, regional and national levels. Establish new corporate partnerships and renew existing accounts to achieve departmental revenue goals. Prepare and present corporate partnerships sales proposals to key clients and prospects. Mentor and assist sales staff with prospecting, pitching and closing business. Participate in weekly meetings to review pipeline and assist with sales strategy. Work closely with department staff to ensure stellar fulfillment of partnership contracts. Collaborate with all members of the corporate partnerships and marketing departments, in addition to other key internal departments, in order to identify new assets and develop new activation programs. Monitor available sponsorship inventory and adjust pricing as necessary. Host and entertain corporate partners and prospects in suite and hospitality settings. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree. 5+ years of sports sponsorship sales experience. 2+ years of demonstrated experience leading and managing a sales staff. Solutions-based sales experience focused on metrics and ROI.

Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in a high profile, competitive marketplace. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic activation programs. Track record of providing exceptional customer-service. Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous formal sales training preferred.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires occasional weekend and/or evening work. Gameday: Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.Compensation:
The projected annual salary range for this position is $85,000- $93,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
