**Given the collaborative and complex nature of this work, this role is in person full time in Irvine, California.**
**How you’ll make an impact:**
The Director, Corporate Strategy will be responsible for leading the implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
+ Develop and plan the implementation of in-depth reviews, similar to management consulting engagements, of key business issues
+ Play an instrumental role in the design and execution of the annual strategic planning process with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization
+ Develop targeted Operations initiatives within Strategy or in partnership with particular Business Units (BUs)
+ Lead the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives identified by the Executive Leadership Team and provide recommendations for decision-making that affect sub-function, area(s), and/or team(s)
+ Partner with CVP and LT on strategic communications and management processes
+ Develop presentations and tools to facilitate communication of findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences
+ Other incidental duties as assigned
**What you’ll need (Required):**
+ Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, quantitative or Finance (FP&A) field with 12 years of direct experience in strategy or related field, of which at least 7 years is direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales **OR**
+ Master’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical, quantitative or Finance (FP&A) field with 10 years of direct experience in strategy or related field, of which at least 7 years is direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales

+ Healthcare industry experience
+ Experience working in a regulated industry
+ Proven successful project management skills
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ Expert understanding and interpretation of complicated market dynamics with the ability to identify and quantify market potential, and build business case with both business and financial analysis skills
+ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and system
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
+ Recognized as an expert in own sub-function(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization
+ Expert understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems
+ Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate value to the business
+ Ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop strong rapport with audience, and be customer focused.
+ Strict attention to detail
+ Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
+ Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead improvement initiatives
+ Ability to represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, cross-functional teams and middle management
+ Ability to consult in project setting within multiple areas, interfacing with low to middle management
+ Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $241,000 (highly experienced).
