Leading an in-house team of copywriters, graphic designers, and project managers, the Director of Creative Strategy and Delivery will bring a mix of creative, marketing, and business understanding to the position. We’re looking for an experienced people leader who can inspire a team, oversee the day-to-day, collaborate with stakeholders, and champion Intapp’s corporate visual identity both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences, while meeting the growing demands of the business.
A key focus of this role is leading with operational excellence—scaling creative output through streamlined processes, intentional tooling, and thoughtful resource allocation. Demonstrated experience using AI and automation for process improvements, velocity gains, and efficiency is highly preferred. This role requires a proactive approach to evolving systems and workflows that drive high-quality outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and oversee the work of an in-house team of copywriters, graphic designers, and project managers supporting a cross-functional marketing team serving multiple industries.
Establish and continuously optimize a scalable creative and operational model that delivers high-impact results within budget constraints—leveraging tools, templates, and reusable frameworks to reduce duplicative work and increase velocity.Set a strong creative vision and support its execution with clear, concise, practical direction to internal and external partners; lead concept development and stakeholder presentations. Lead the creative direction for high-impact initiatives such as corporate brand campaigns and flagship events, driving strategic, cohesive storytelling in partnership with senior leaders.Mentor and coach a team of creative professionals to produce their best work and deliver an exceptional experience for internal clients efficiently. Aid the development of team members by setting clear objectives, providing ongoing feedback, and evaluating development potential.Design and implement intake and briefing processes that allow standardization and flexibility, with the goal to improve clarity, alignment, and efficiency across all creative requests and deliverables.Develop KPI-driven metrics for creative performance and process improvement (e.g., cycle time, revision count, stakeholder satisfaction, etc.).Identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted design (e.g., content generation, versioning, asset localization), embedding innovation in everyday workflows.Translate marketing objectives and campaign plans across business units and industries into clear and motivating creative strategies that empower the team to execute with confidence and autonomy:Guide the development of fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print, digital, and environmental experiences for technically sophisticated audiences.Establish quality standards and creative review frameworks, enabling senior team members to provide feedback and approvals in alignment with brand and campaign goals.Oversee final concept presentation strategy—ensuring the right team members are presenting work to stakeholders and that approvals are efficiently managed.Continuously improve quality and efficiency by analyzing team performance, refining workflows, and championing process improvements across the creative and marketing functions.Ensure the application of corporate and product brand identity, standards, and guidelines and maintain the integrity of our brands in all internal and external applications.Work collaboratively to manage and evolve a network of preferred agency partners, copywriters, videographers, etc. to deliver best-in-class creative services and value.Manage project planning, intake, and workflow to capacity, including timing, resources, labor hours, and external costs.Meet budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses.Evolve and adapt with the growing needs of the business.Skills and Qualifications
12+ years of related experience with 7+ years of design and copy direction in agency or corporate settingMust have previous experience leading an in-house agency serving marketing teams; must be comfortable overseeing the integration of design and copySeasoned at driving process, prioritization, and workflow within the corporate environment while maintaining positive relationshipsAdept at leading creative or organizational change initiatives, including the ability to manage ambiguity, gain stakeholder alignment, and guide teams through process, tooling, or other changesExperience creating brand and visual expression for B2B technologyProven experience with concept development and creation of integrated marketing deliverablesA strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing conceptsMust have strong persuasive skills, confidence, resilience, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and serve diverse stakeholder needs while leading a teamExperience with a variety of software, including Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Asana, and Microsoft TeamsExcellent leadership skillsExcellent communication skills#LI-AS1
