Role and Responsibilities
As the Director of Culture, you will be responsible for building, fostering and demonstrating a workplace culture reflective of our company values, with emphasis on employee engagement and belonging.
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to shaping a strong organizational culture, aligning programs & people with our company objectives and key initiatives.
Design, implement, and manage employee engagement strategies tailored to our workforce, aligned with business objectives in order to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring company values are consistently embedded in organizational practices
Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives by partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure integration of inclusive practices into recruitment, training, leadership development, and employee engagement where applicable
Implement an internal communications strategy in order to communicate our programs, processes and initiatives, helping to further ensure transparent methods of communication; keeping employees informed and engaged
Manage recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and contributions
Enhance employee engagement strategy to focus on employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention via regular engagement surveys
Define and track key metrics to measure the success of culture and engagement initiatives; provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, recommending actionable solutions to address key areas of improvement
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
12+ years of experience in employee engagement, organizational development, or a related role
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Experience with data-driven decision-making and analytics tool
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Emotional intelligence and relationship-building
Leadership and influence without direct authority
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in project management and execution
