This role is integral in working closely with the Brand Online Merchandise Planners to ensure demand planning is delivered in a consistent manner, and operates against a data-driven strategy. The Director will be responsible for building a community of practice, fostering collaboration, and aligning demand planning processes across various teams. This role requires strong leadership, strategic insight, and cross-functional teamwork. Responsibilities · Aggregate and analyze demand data for multiple brands across the region to ensure a unified and accurate demand forecast. Make recommendations for demand changes based on commercial plans, consumption and demand data · Leverage insights from historical sales, market trends, and external data to drive accurate demand predictions. · Work closely with regional teams across online and supply chain to ensure that data is aligned with business objectives and strategies. · Partner with eCommerce merch planners to understand their demand needs and develop tailored demand plans to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal trends. · Provide actionable insights and data support to help eCommerce teams optimize inventory and sales strategies. · Offer guidance and best practices to ensure merch planners are equipped to forecast and plan effectively. · Align demand plans with supply chain processes to ensure inventory levels are optimized and meet customer demand. · Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure that demand forecasts are translated into actionable procurement and production plans. · Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on demand forecast accuracy, key trends, and potential risks to the supply chain. · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and work to continuously improve performance. · Stay informed on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to ensure the demand planning function is cutting-edge. · Build and nurture a community of practice for demand planning across the region, ensuring a shared understanding of processes, tools, and methodologies. · Lead training initiatives to enhance demand planning skills across the organization **Qualifications** · 8+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or merchandising. · Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). · Strong expertise in demand planning processes, tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms), and forecasting techniques. · Proven experience in working with teams to align inventory management and demand planning efforts. · Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively. · Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of fostering collaboration across functions. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data and insights to senior leadership. **Pay Range:** The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$120,550.00** to **$208,200.00** . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
