Position Summary: The Director, Digital Marketing is a valuable member of The Conference Board team responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that drive membership growth, increase engagement, and promote new products. This key leadership role is accountable for driving the awareness, prominence, and indispensability of our products and offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, event marketing, community management, sales and sponsorship marketing, lead generation, and new product development including go-to-market execution. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, working closely with other team members and interacting directly with The Conference Board executive leadership, and other leaders across the organization, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role. Accountabilities: + Lead team of direct reports who are accountable for the digital marketing and member experience of The Conference Board. + Drive double digit growth by successfully developing and implementing outstanding marketing that aligns with organization goals and incorporates innovative approaches including the use of artificial intelligence. + Build awareness and prominence so The Conference Board and our Trusted Insights for What's Ahead™ are known in the C-suite of every $1B company globally. + Reinforce relevance and indispensability to our current and prospective Members to increase retention rates to meet our organization goals by enhancing our Member-only website, myTCB, including our communities and mobile app. + Drive an operating model for the team that significantly improves the efficiency of the marketing organization and its interactions with all business unit leaders at The Conference Board to decrease non-salary expenses. + Accountable for the successful deployment of our digital marketing platforms including our website, email marketing, community platform, mobile app, and others to support the goals of the organization. + Support the optimization of the quantity and quality of leads generated to increase acquisition and sponsorship revenue to support the increase of new sales and sponsorship sales. + Drive innovation from concept, market testing, development, and promotional plans to successfully drive new and retained revenue. + Optimize marketing results by setting clear KPIs, measuring and monitoring performance, and recommending adjustments to improve performance. + Hire, train, and manage an outstanding marketing team of direct reports by consistently increasing the capabilities of staff by reviewing performance and upgrading skill set. + Deliver budgetary surplus by developing and effectively managing department operating budget to maximize return on investment. + Responsible for being a champion of our five core values: Relevance, Openness, Innovation, Integrity, and Collaboration. Qualifications: + 5-7 years successful experience in B2B marketing + Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. + Successful experience planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns across channels including email, web, social media, video, newsletters, paid search, and other channels on time and within budget. + Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members. + Ability to read business research and understand the key insights and how these are relevant to the CEO and each of the titles in the C-suite. + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to a variety of audiences. + Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail. + Growth-driven, high-energy, self-starter who gets along well with others and acts in a collegial manner that promotes teamwork and builds credibility and trust in the marketing department.
