What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Products & Platform, you will be a key member of the Product Delivery Leadership Team, accountable for building a team responsible for optimizing our delivery rigour, leading the capacity planning and forecasting, and improving reporting to reflect the work across our digital portfolio. This role has a major focus on digital operations and business transformation through continuous improvement and change management. This candidate will be successful in their role by forging key partnerships with leaders across Digital and Technology.
You will work closely with the Digital Strategy & Innovation and Digital Technology teams in a leadership capacity, and you will hold key stakeholder relationships within your mandate. You will also play a key role in helping to drive agility and transformation across our portfolio to elevate our delivery workflow and enable an elevated employee experience.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed

Working closely with stakeholders across teams and disciplines to facilitate effective conversations, and dissemination of information. Consistently build new relationships and serve as an active collaborator and partner to those we work with.
Delivery Governance and Optimization - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices. Ongoing optimization of delivery processes including driving priority on focus areas with an emphasis on implementation and sustainment. Implement a monitoring and governance strategy through baseline and feedback loop, to ensure areas of improvement have direct and positive impact to our employee experience, collaboration and culture.
Leadership – Leading and developing teams to continue elevating our talent pool while aligning team priorities to organizational strategic imperatives. Transformative leadership through change, leading our teams to enable our ability to support the business of tomorrow.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 8 to 10 years in a leadership capacity leading teams and developing talent.
You can demonstrate 3 to 5 years of direct experience in senior level stakeholder management, driving against declared objectives through exceptional communication skills.
You can demonstrate work experience in thinking strategically, have an appreciation for delivery methodologies (an asset if you have direct technical project implementation experience), all the while understanding mechanics of change management.
You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
Your influence makes a difference. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You inspire outcomes by gaining shared understanding and leading with empathy.
