Group/Division Summary:Position Summary:

The Director, Distribution Operational Excellence, reporting to the Vice President, North America Distribution, will provide support across a network of fifteen (15) North American distribution centers and various international locations while engaging with a variety of cross-functional areas within the supply chain. This position will maximize Centers of Excellence within the Customer Channels Group (CCG) to provide support across the network. The position will also be critical in aiding the advancement of our distribution centers and the Global Supply Chain Network, as well as contributing to the operations planning process. The global supply chain operates within a broad, distributed network, supporting 5,000+ suppliers, 200,000+ products and 350,000+ customers. Various distribution center aspects include material movement automation, multi-WMS, dangerous goods, cold chain, lot control, date control, wave & order picking.  Areas of focus will include:

Facility operational optimization and innovation that impact safety, quality, delivery, cost, and colleague experience.Facility maintenance, OEE and Capital Expenditure managementBest practices for end-to-end material and information flowDistribution Systems Support (hardware and software)Data Analytics and ModelingInternal / External benchmarkingHow Will You Get Here?Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Superior role model leadership behaviors – ability to lead an organization (and influence others) while actively displaying the Company’s 4-I’s – Integrity, Innovation, Intensity and InvolvementCapability to promote process improvement, operational excellence, and standard methodologies across the distribution networkClear understanding and experience in low to high automation for distribution centers, material handling, OEE, equipment monitoring, and related software (WMS, CCS), building design, etc.Demonstrated ability for developing and implementing project plans across a variety of initiatives supporting multiple facilities (including building construction and permitting).Strong analytical, financial and P&L skills required to succeed, proven negotiating and contracting skills.15+ years of STEM experience in Distribution and/or ManufacturingPosition entails up to 25% travelEducational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or STEM is required; MBA or Master’s Degree in STEM or related filed is strongly preferred
