Director, Distribution Partnerships
**Job Description** This role is responsible for the overall account management of the major third-party distribution partners including Travel Management Corporations, Tour Operators and Leisure Agency partnership accounts, both internally and externally. The role will aim to drive the growth and expansion of our overall distribution network with a specific focus on high value partners and new business opportunities in the TMC sector. The incumbent is fully accountable for all aspects of the account relationship(s) and respective performance results. This includes identifying and capitalizing on all opportunities within their account base by creating appropriate strategies to achieve global revenue targets, grow market share (within market segments), supporting Hertz strategic initiatives for all three brands and pursuing additional growth through targeted Business Line integration _._ **A Day in the Life:** Reporting to the Sr. Director of Distribution Partnerships, this role will help support and grow the Hertz business within third-party distribution channels. This role will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our network, supporting the business strategy as it relates to third-party distribution, and identifying and acting on opportunities to achieve goals. This role may include people leadership responsibilities. Position to be based in Estero, FL. The starting salary is expected to be $135k but will be commensurate with experience? **What You’ll Do:** + Focus on identifying, fostering and optimizing strategic partnerships with key partners to enhance our reach, streamline execution and implementation of new programs, and ultimately maximize revenue. + Proactively create and execute strategies, including marketing plans, to increase global rentals/revenue and market share for all three brands within assigned account base. Target brands to meet portfolio needs. + Identify and develop opportunities to implement strategies that support Hertz global priorities and new initiatives. Grow non-traditional and SME segments within the account. Effectively align and integrate the company’s broader business objectives with account portfolio. + Focus on ensuring that we maintain a competitive advantage within accounts by being first to implement or fast followers of new capabilities. + Secure insights from Accounts on Industry trends that assist Hertz management in developing tactical and strategic plans, ensuring we are positioned to assume a competitive advantage in the market + Develop and maintain high-value relationships with multiple decision makers to increase revenue and/or market share + Manage cross functional relationships with Revenue Management, all Marketing groups (brand, social, CRM, etc.), Field Sales, Executive Management teams and other departments regarding opportunities, challenges and current market trends affecting the assigned account’s current state of business and performance + Ensure that requirements for third party distribution requirements are fully considered as part of the Hertz planning process. + Analyze, report out and recommend / react to business performance metrics with corresponding actions to support desired program performance + Attend in person events representing Hertz and meeting with booking agents, business development managers, and other high-level executives to generate incremental business to Hertz. + Lead and influence a team – coach and manage a team focused on providing customer service, corresponding administration (reporting, business reviews, promotions), cultivating long-term relationships, and driving overall improvement. **What We’re Looking For:** **_edit as applicable_** + Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales or sales management ideally in travel related industry with a focus on leisure and/or TMCs + Minimum B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent from four-year college/university. + Proven marketing execution and sales performance in roles increasing in scope or level of responsibility. + Demonstrated revenue growth within a sales territory over an extended period and effectively lead in a team environment + Ability to drive the culture of a team and engages fully in activities + Ability to work with senior level contacts both internally and externally + Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations + Experience with negotiating agreements with senior level contacts internally and externally. + Ability to work as part of a team. + Excellent business and financial acumen. + Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent organization, time management, delegation, and prioritization skills. **What You’ll Get:** + Up to 40% off any standard Hertz Rental   + Paid Time Off + Medical, Dental & Vision plan options + Retirement programs, including 401(k) employer matching + Paid Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance + Employee Assistance Program for employees & family + Educational Reimbursement & Discounts + Voluntary Insurance Programs - Pet, Legal/Identity Theft, Critical Illness + Perks & Discounts –Theme Park Tickets, Gym Discounts & more The Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, Thrifty Car Rental brands in approximately 9,700 corporate and franchisee locations throughout North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
