As the Director of Diversity & Belonging (D&B), you will contribute directly to DaVita’s Employer of Choice mission by shaping and executing DaVita's strategy to foster Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) across the organization.
At DaVita, D&B is woven into our approach to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, culture, and more. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment on the overall D&B strategy and priorities for DaVita, and embed D&B across the full teammate life cycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation, the overall teammate experience and more.
Additionally, to contribute to our overall multi-year objective of investing in teammates holistically, you will be asked to lead or participate in strategic projects across People Teams departments. These might include Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, L&D, culture projects, and more.
This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in strategy development, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including with our most senior executives. You will report within the People leadership team and work closely with various stakeholders across the company to drive our D&B strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Diversity & Belonging Strategy: In partnership with key stakeholders, continue to evolve and deepen DaVita's Diversity & Belonging strategy to integrate D&B into in our culture, processes, and programs.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and analytics to inform strategy and measure the effectiveness of initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous progress.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders – from senior executives to front-line operators – to inform, enhance, and drive alignment around projects.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Inspire and align a range of key internal partners to translate strategy into action, including Talent Acquisition, Communications, Learning & Development, People Services Operations, People Insights & Analytics, Legal and more.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring that initiatives are successfully adopted and sustained across all levels of the organization.
Strategic Advice: Advise senior leaders and other key stakeholders on D&B-related issues, providing thoughtful, consistent guidance on how to respond.
Talent Development: Partner with key lanes like Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and People Services Operations to promote diverse talent at all phases of the teammate lifecycle, from hire to development to succession planning.
Special Projects: Lead or support various special projects within the People Teams, as directed.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in strategy development, analysis, leadership, and managing across a diverse portfolio of strategic projects.
Strategy development: Track record of creating data-backed strategies with alignment from key stakeholders, including executives.
Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate large data sets and develop complex analyses to derive meaningful insights.
Project Management: Exceptional project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational change.
Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders, including senior audiences.
Change management leadership: Proven ability to inspire and influence different teams without direct authority, building strong partnerships and driving results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Salary/ Wage Range
$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
