Title: Director, Edge Security Ops

The Purpose of This Role

The qualified candidate must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment where learning new skills and understanding Edge Security Operations quickly is a key to success.  The job involves performing techno-manager role in Edge Security Operations areas including Web Application Firewall, Email Security, IDS/IPS, cloud perimeter security, Cyber Incident Response, Change Management, etc.

The candidate will work with a large and extended Cyber Platform operations team and provide a variety of network & Perimeter Security expertise, Candidate will play role as People manager and work as SME for Advance security expertise for Fireeye, IDS/IPS, Email Security, Cloud Security – Perimeter Security, Splunk, and WAF operations.

Manage Senior subject matter expertise associates and align the Edge Security Ops functions with business priority. Engaging senior leaders with different professional and cultural backgrounds in functional merits of Enterprise IT, including articulating business benefits in very tangible ways. Technical

Broad span of diverse outstanding skills to manage Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Advance Threat Protection (ATP), Cloud Security and Email Security operational functions. Expertise in Email Security, Email and Web Advance Threat Protection, DNS, DDoS and IDS/IPS. Analyzing email, DNS and DDoS attack patterns to improve protections. Expert in DMARC and outbound email enforcement. Ability to influence high impacting and complex security architecture decisions in high pressure situations. Responsible for Perimeter security products maturity, Architectural oversight and enable high business value. Profound knowledge of enterprise security architecture practices, strategies, processes, and methodologies Outstanding interpersonal and multi-tasking and responsible for taking very high complex perimeter security decisions.  Ability to decision during high pressure situations like Cyber incidents. Responsible for Perimeter security products maturity and high, enable high business value. Develop consistent and high-quality service roadmaps and architectures, ensuring strategy alignment and oversight of standards and guidelines. You will work closely with the technical domain architects and engineers to develop and agree the target state and transitional states. You have a deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture as well as solid partner management skills to drive consensus across multiple business divisions (you must be willing to challenge the status quo).  Engaging senior leaders with different professional and cultural backgrounds in functional merits of Enterprise IT, including articulating business benefits in very tangible ways. The Skills that are Good to Have for this role

As a Lead in the Cyber Security, you should have:

Strong Understanding of Perimeter operations processes (e.g. incident management, change management, SLA’s etc.) Ability to proactively prevent enterprise ingress malicious traffic, block it and communicate to CSO level. Data Driven Approach to understand fraud data, prioritize detect and prevent. Expert in Network Security and Web Application Firewall Prior experience on Splunk Strong customer focus, Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Manage own time and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical people Communicate with peers and management. Good communication skills and experience of working in multi-culture environments.
