The Director, Engineering leads projects and initiatives related to digital emerging technology and developer experience within our global Digital Products competency center. They will maintain the operational effectiveness of the Red Bull App Kit by leading advocacy, ensuring reliability, steering the roadmap, and enforcing standards and best practices. The Director, Engineering is the central point of contact for digital security across the engineering organization horizontally.  This involves enhancement in tooling, vendor selection, incident triage, investigation, research, and development. The Director, Engineering will also research and test new platforms to develop on within the space of emerging technology, including but not limited to GenAI.  This role maintains a close relationship with counterparts at major technology partners as well as a close relationship with Red Bull’s teams in other countries through regular travel and workshops.
