The Pizza Hut Director of Equity Restaurants oversees all equity personnel, processes, and operations in around 100 plus corporate locations across multiple markets, with total sales averaging 50 million dollars. They are responsible for leading the Pizza Hut equity organization, improving performance and sales levels in all restaurants through excellence in day-to-day operations, as well as training, coaching, and supporting multi-unit leaders and restaurant managers. Additionally, they communicate the strategic vision, set bold goals, drive relentless action, and demonstrate people-focused leadership through recognition, mentoring, and motivating multi-unit level management and their teams, and working cross-functionally to drive strategic business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to the Equity organization to deliver an exceptional customer experience across a diverse group of restaurants. Work with Operations leaders to deliver profit goals and meet targeted flow-thru objectives; utilize available reports to identify opportunities; encourage a top-line orientation through operational focus; ensure that correct operational procedures are always followed to drive bottom line results. Coach and train various levels of Management for operational excellence, support national training initiatives, and monitor training processes to ensure quality training of team and managers. Develop and maintain management staffing levels; drive to full management staffing for each location in market; commit to selection process; monitor staffing levels to anticipate sales seasonality. Ensure uncompromising execution of the highest standards of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy. Lead recognition and motivation efforts throughout the portfolio acknowledging the People that drive our business. Ensure facilities and equipment meet brand standards.
Required Qualifications:
This position is based out of Plano, TX RSC. 3 days in-office required. 10+ years of successful, high sales volume, operational management experience in a Fortune 500 environment multi-unit retail or restaurant environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large teams. In-depth knowledge of all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, supply chain logistics, quality assurance, and customer service. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a large team of cross-functional and operational leaders, restaurant managers, and employees. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams at all levels. Solid understanding of financials, including profit and loss statements, budget management, cost control, and pricing strategies. Proven analytical skills to assess operational performance, track key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and profitability. Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees. Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 50% as needed.

Salary Range: $180,000 to $211,000 annually + bonus eligibility and stock-based compensation. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
